Spotlight on Occitanie Cinema
This year, thanks to a partnership with the Vues du Québec Festival in Florac, the Knowlton Film Festival shines a light on the cinema of Occitanie, a vast region in the South of France stretching from the Pyrenees to the Cévennes, from Toulouse to Montpellier.
Through a selection of five films, audiences are invited to explore the diversity of the region’s landscapes — from the Cévennes mountains to the Languedoc plains — as well as the perspectives of filmmakers and craftspeople who have made this region their backdrop.
