Using a sensitive black and white approach punctuated with animated shards, Scratches of Life: The Art of Pierre Hébert follows the Ariadne’s thread of film engraving to transport us into the inspiring labyrinth that is the life and work of the illustrious animation filmmaker Pierre Hébert. Loïc Darses etches the imprint of an exceptional man who, even today, persists in creating to better transmit new forms of life.
