Amélie Bonnin
Cécile, a rising chef who gained fame by winning the television show Top Chef, is about to open her own gourmet restaurant in Paris. But when her father suffers a heart attack, she must temporarily return to her childhood village and help run the roadside restaurant operated by her parents. While there, she unexpectedly reunites with Raphaël, her teenage sweetheart. Memories resurface, and her long?held certainties begin to waver.

Amélie Bonnin
Amélie Bonnin, born in 1985 in Châteauroux, France, is a director, screenwriter, and art director. She studied at the École Olivier-de-Serres, UQAM in Montreal, and La Fémis in Paris. After directing two documentaries (La Mélodie du boucher, 2012; La Bande des Français, 2017), she gained acclaim with her César-winning short film Partir un jour (2021). In 2025, she adapted it into a feature-length debut of the same name, which opened the 78th Cannes Film Festival — a first for a female debut director. With her cross-disciplinary background in graphic design, writing, and socially engaged cinema, she is emerging as a bold new voice in French film.
