Coco Ferme is the story of Max, a 12-year-old entrepreneur forced to close his garage-operated business and move with his father to a remote rural village. When Max discovers some chickens in his cousin Charles’ old abandoned barn, he sees an opportunity to get back into business. The two join forces with Alice, a young youtuber renowned for her market gardening videos, and set about creating a farm with 500 laying hens.

Guest: Benoît Brière

Brière graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1991. He has an impressive theatrical track record, having appeared in plays such as Dom Juan, Bousille et les justes, Le Barbier de Séville and Le Bourgeois gentilhomme. With Stéphane Jacques, he wrote and performed the play Nez à nez. His film credits include Joyeux Calvaire and Louis 19, le roi des ondes. In 2002, he appeared in Séraphin : Un homme et son péché, Station Nord and in 2003 in the film La Grande Séduction written by Ken Scott. His television credits include Gypsies, Juliette Pomerleau, Cher Olivier, Marguerite Volant, la Petite Vie and le Plateau. In 1994 and 1995, he co-hosted La Soirée des Masques. In 2002, he repeated the experience with the actors of Royal Air Farce. He gives opera workshops at the Université de Montréal and the Conservatoire de Montréal, and directs graduates of the National Theatre School at their auditions at the Théâtre de Quat’Sous. Spokesman for the Bell Canada telephone company for 14 years, he played the role of various characters in over a hundred television commercials. In Quebec, he was nicknamed Monsieur B for this reason.
