Steve Patry is a documentary filmmaker whose works have a profound social purpose and give a voice to marginalized or underrepresented people. His debut film, *De prisons en prisons* (2014), received a Special Jury Mention at the RIDM and was nominated for the Jutra Award for Best Feature-Length Documentary. His subsequent films—*Waseskun* (2016), *Tant que j’ai du respir dans le corps* (2020), and *Des chats sauvages* (2024)—have also received several nominations for Quebec and Canadian film awards.
