Diane Magnoux

Diane Magnoux is the programming director of the CINEMANIA Film Festival in Montreal.

Diane Magnoux is the programming director of the CINEMANIA Film Festival in Montreal. With a master’s degree in cultural development strategy, she became involved in the film industry during her college years by serving as president of an association dedicated to film heritage and by leading a university film club. After gaining experience at the Cannes Film Festival and then at the distribution company Wild Bunch, she spent five years working in theater programming for the UGC and Pathé Gaumont chains in Paris. She moved to Montreal in 2021 and joined the CINEMANIA team, serving successively as Head of Cultural Outreach and then as Director of Partnerships and Funding, while also serving on the programming committee. At the same time, she collaborates with Québec Cinéma on the La Forge Québec Cinéma Netflix talent residency program. She currently serves as CINEMANIA’s Head of Programming, where she oversees the selection of feature films, documentaries, and short films.
