Maïlys Vallade
Director, screenwriter, storyboard artist, animator, and visual creator for animated feature films.
Passionate about cinema and special effects from a very young age, I was introduced to the craft of building automatons (animatronics) and 3D sets by my father. I subsequently immersed myself in drawing and painting, driven by a desire to create worlds and stories around these creations.
I began working in 2010 on animated feature film productions such as *Adama* (visual development), *Ernest & Celestine* (animation), and later *The Little Prince*, *Long Way North*, *The Swallows of Kabul*, *A Man Is Dead*, *I Lost My Body*, *Calamity*, and *Séraphine*. On these latter projects, I primarily worked on storyboarding, but also on set design, layout, and 2D animation. I also served as a visual designer on the films *Itanésie*, *Calamity*, *Séraphine*, *Amélie*, and *Fleur*.
*Amélie et la métaphysique des tubes* is my first feature film as director and screenwriter.
Liane-Cho Hang
Liane-Cho is a director, storyboard artist, and animation supervisor. A 2007 graduate of Gobelins in Paris, he worked as a key animator on feature films such as *Go West! A Lucky Luke Adventure* and Sylvain Chomet’s *The Illusionist*. He subsequently became a senior animator on the film *Zarafa*, directed by Rémi Besançon and Jean-Christophe Lie.
Drawing on his extensive experience in animation, Liane-Cho decided to pursue a career as a storyboard artist, contributing to films such as *Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods* (by Alexandre Astier and Louis Clichy), *The Little Prince* (by Mark Osborne), and *Long Way North* (by Rémi Chayé), on which he also served as animation director.
