As part of the inaugural Knowlton Film Festival Film School—organized in collaboration with Bishop’s University—students are invited to take part in a discussion focused on the short films in competition. Moderated by Dr. Gregory Brophy, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of English at Bishop’s University—and a specialist in film studies and visual culture—this session offers a forum to discuss the works screened at the festival, the artistic approaches behind them, and the issues shaping contemporary cinema. In a relaxed setting that encourages dialogue, participants are invited to share their impressions and deepen their critical understanding of cinema today.
