Mathieu Sapin, a French comic book creator and filmmaker born in 1974, is best known for directing the film *Le Poulain* (2018), a satirical comedy starring Alexandra Lamy that goes behind the scenes of a presidential campaign. He also co-directed the documentary *Macadam Popcorn* (2017), which focuses on movie theaters.
Guillaume Sapin is the founder and artistic director of the Festival Vues du Québec, the leading French festival entirely dedicated to Quebec cinema. Through his association, La Nouvelle Dimension, he has made it his mission to promote Quebec film culture in France, particularly in often-overlooked rural areas.
After studying history and film history at the universities of Nice and Paris 1, I taught courses at Paris 1 and Paris 3, and currently teach at the University of Montpellier.
Having served as artistic director for cinema in Corsica from 2002 to 2009, I am now the director of the Occitanie Films agency, where I work to develop the film and audiovisual sectors in the Occitanie region. My primary area of ??interest is the relationship between theater and cinema—a subject to which I have dedicated both academic theses and articles.
A film and TV series columnist for *L'actualité* magazine, Daniel Racine is, among other roles, a film critic for *Séquences* magazine, an international voting member for the Golden Globes in Hollywood, a member of the AQCC, and a co-programmer and host of the Vues du Québec festival in the Cévennes region of France.
