A Family Evening with the Knowlton Players and Louise Penny at the FFKFF
Following the success of last year's evening dedicated to the great lady of theatre, Emma Stevens, the Knowlton Film Festival is pleased to collaborate once again with the Knowlton Players for a very special screening of Charlotte's Web, the 2006 film adaptation of E. B. White's beloved classic.
A treat for young people and their families, this festive evening will begin with Salutations: A Thank-You Note (adapted from E. B. White's Charlotte's Web), a short theatrical performance narrated by none other than acclaimed author Louise Penny, and featuring young performers Rosemary, Gordon and Harry Turner, with Sheila Quinn as Charlotte.
Farm-themed costumes, beloved characters from the book, a country fair atmosphere, and a themed photobooth will help bring the magic of this timeless story to life — in a joyful encounter between cinema, theatre, and childhood imagination.
