Adam’s body is changing as a result of the negative comments made about him by those around him. Between housekeeping for a wealthy family on summer vacation and mowing the lawn for a fussy neighbor, the shy teenager finds a way to seduce a girl in his class. But the girl is in a relationship with his main persecutor.

Joël Vaudreuil

Joël Vaudreuil is a multi-disciplinary Quebec artist who has produced a number of music videos and acclaimed short films, including La vie magnifique sous l’eau (2015), L’enfant aux six hot-dogs (2011) and La récréation du midi (2009), as well as the animated short Le courant faible de la rivière (2013), which has been screened at over a hundred festivals worldwide, including the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. An independent multidisciplinary artist, Joël Vaudreuil’s work was the subject of a retrospective at the Cinémathèque Québécoise in 2017 and another at the Carrousel international du film de Rimouski in 2021. Joël Vaudreuil is also a musician, a member of the bands Avec pas d’casque, Moussette, Le Diable (comme l’outil) and Cheval Fou. Adam change lentement is his first feature film.
