“Every morning since the 60s, Marcel has confided in his cassette recorder. His confessions on life, from the infinitely small to the immensely large, that this documentary film unfolds across the ages. Au boute du rien pantoute, recounts the incredible life of a man of many personalities: a versatile actor, an outstanding improviser, a screenwriter and a lyricist. Filmed by his son Jérôme Sabourin, this playful portrait-essay is a hymn to life, a look at both the intimate and social of a free man who jumped on “every bus” that came his way. On the eve of his 89th birthday, Marcel Sabourin tells our story, and his own, with all the whimsy that inhabits him.” Followed by a discussion with Marcel Sabourin.
